What did you get for Christmas?
It's an activity board! I was trying to figure out what gift to get Samantha for Christmas. More books? Some more toys? Dolls? (gasp).
Then I came across this (and another) activity drawing board. What a great idea! On one side, there is a whiteboard. There are also magnetic alphabets and numbers provided, which can be used on the whiteboard as well. On the other side was a chalkboard. Some chalk is provided but I have put the chalk aside for now.
She seems to really like this activity drawing board. This is money well spent. She can draw (her favourite) a moon. Well almost.. if you really squint your eyes, it'll look like a moon.
Better yet, she can draw (well.. at least the location and numbers are correct) the parts of a face!
I start with a circle and ask her. Eyes? (She marks 2 places where the eyes should be. Nose? She marks the center of the face. Ears? She draws some squiggly for the ears on each side of the face. Mouth (yup.. it's in the right place as well. Along with the hair, cheeks, chin, teeth... Picasso would have been challenged!
Another masterpiece!

Christmas Eve at Cineleisure
We spent Christmas Eve at the Curve and Cineleisure. There was a big big crowd all around and parking was very difficult. As usual, Malaysia Boleh Parking Strategy was used by many. We then went to check out Cineleisure, to see what the fuss was all about.
This was after dinner at Dragon-I. Now Samantha also loves the Siu Long Pau. Not the entire Pau, but only the soup within the pau! She simple refuses to try the pastry or the meat inside, but just relishes the soup within. There was a big snakes and ladders display and Samantha wanted to try it out. Mama helped to take off her shoes.
She ran all around the opened area (giant snakes and ladders display stuck to the floor).
