A new year.. a new look

Well.. not this pouty look :)

Samantha, you are not a Tomb Raider. hahaha.

This is better :)

Party party

Planning for a little party for Samantha.
It's this Sunday. A small gathering.

Samantha, you are almost 2 years old. Sometimes, it does seem a little surreal. I may soon have to change the name of this blog. The Little One is growing :)

Daddy and Mommy loves you.

It's a new year

It's a new year and the Little One is almost TWO!

My my... how time does fly by.

Here's what installed for the new year.
New resolutions...
The Little One is becoming 2.
More photos, videos and stories to process, post, upload.
And there's another little one on the way :)

I think I'll have to sum up 2006 first in another post. There's lots to tell.

Also, blogger seems to be updating itself, but this blog cannot be migrated to the new version yet.

New Year's Day

Happy New Year!
This time we're at MidValley. We came over to treat Samantha's grandparents a meal at Dragon-I. And yes, Samantha did drink the soup from the Siu Long Pau. Only the soup.

Por Por, Kung Kung, and Yang Yang. I wonder why everything is repeated.

Samantha checking out supplies and preparing for school! Yes! Samantha will be joining a play group in the middle of January. I wonder how she would react. She did give it a try before when we went for the trial. She was totally independent and her well mannered self. Phew!

A Barney bag? Hmm.. She didn't take it off for a while :)

With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you.
Won't you say you love me too.

Christmas Gift

What did you get for Christmas?

It's an activity board! I was trying to figure out what gift to get Samantha for Christmas. More books? Some more toys? Dolls? (gasp).

Then I came across this (and another) activity drawing board. What a great idea! On one side, there is a whiteboard. There are also magnetic alphabets and numbers provided, which can be used on the whiteboard as well. On the other side was a chalkboard. Some chalk is provided but I have put the chalk aside for now.

She seems to really like this activity drawing board. This is money well spent. She can draw (her favourite) a moon. Well almost.. if you really squint your eyes, it'll look like a moon.

Better yet, she can draw (well.. at least the location and numbers are correct) the parts of a face!

I start with a circle and ask her. Eyes? (She marks 2 places where the eyes should be. Nose? She marks the center of the face. Ears? She draws some squiggly for the ears on each side of the face. Mouth (yup.. it's in the right place as well. Along with the hair, cheeks, chin, teeth... Picasso would have been challenged!

Christmas Eve at Cineleisure

We spent Christmas Eve at the Curve and Cineleisure. There was a big big crowd all around and parking was very difficult. As usual, Malaysia Boleh Parking Strategy was used by many. We then went to check out Cineleisure, to see what the fuss was all about.

This was after dinner at Dragon-I. Now Samantha also loves the Siu Long Pau. Not the entire Pau, but only the soup within the pau! She simple refuses to try the pastry or the meat inside, but just relishes the soup within. There was a big snakes and ladders display and Samantha wanted to try it out. Mama helped to take off her shoes.

She ran all around the opened area (giant snakes and ladders display stuck to the floor).

In a bouncy net

Samantha had never tried a bouncy net before. What is a bouncy net? Well, in short, it's a net that bounces. The theory is to bounce a baby to sleep. Here she is trying out Yang Yang's net. Yang Yang is curiously wondering what is happening in his bed!

Where are you?!

Ponytail (2)

Hey! something is on my head!

Hahaha...

Oooo

Mommy made it possible :) (photo taken by Samantha Yuen) Posted by Picasa

Ponytail (1)

This is a new experience for Samantha. She usually doesn't like hats, or people messing with her hair. So we were also surprised when she allowed us to tie up her hair.

See? Nice!

Where is the hair tie !?
