Potty training ?!@~!@~#~

In the past few months, I have started potty training for samantha. Morning we started when poo-poo training with her potty either in the toiler or in the hall in front of tv. Til now, she is willing to goto potty (without any complaint or hesitate) before her poo-poo, sometimes.

Samantha : Samantha wan to "mm mm".
Mommy : ok, let's go toilet.

... after few minutes ..

Samantha : what sound?
Mommy : what do you mean girl ?
Samantha : what sound?
Mommy : oh, ok. Samantha poo-poo already ya? Clever girl !!!


She will smile whenever we guess the sound correctly, haha.. so cute !!

However, training on her pee-pee is not a good job. We were keep on asking her when she need to pee, MUST alert us in order to bring her to potty or toilet.

Mommy : When Samantha wanna "shue shue" tell mommy, ok?
Samantha : Daddy, Mommy, Mama, Samantha want to "mm mm", ok?
(Samantha still cannot differential poo-poo and pee-pee)

Unfornately, she is not getting the idea til now.

She will say "mm mm" after she finished peeing on the floor/ chairs/ sofa.. u name it.. Sigh!!! patty training does need alots of patience and energy of clean-up from parents. :(

Mommy : Why Samantha never tell mommy when you want to "shue shue" ??
Samantha : Daddy, Mommy, Mama, Samantha want to "mm mm", ok?

Guess this will be on-going task for me til the Little Two come out.. more headache then. haha..

Baby talk

In this recent weeks, samantha has been talking in baby languages. We been keep on asking her to talk in English and then she will say : 'Ink lish". Ha!!

so cute!!

Ma ma said this might because she is unintentionally wanna become a baby, since we are inputing information to her about the new coming baby. Is it true ? No idea !! Only she can answer this question.

Zoom zoom !!

When samantha is in daddy's car, she says : "Daddy zoom zoom, ta ta sit, mommy sit, mama sit woh.."

Translated : Daddy is driving, while samantha, mommy and mama are sitting in the car.

Doctor visits

After the CNY which full of snacks, cold drink, mandarin oranges, and tonnes of delicious food, Samantha has went through difficult times after all the delicious food, ie : fever, cough and flu. We had been visit to her Dr, we called the Dr as her 'kai ma'..(god mother!!) . Her appetite has been reduce lots. Most of time only milk. Thank god! At least she drink milk. We kept all the junk food in the house and no mandarin orange and no juice for time being. Sigh !!

New Sunglasses

Mommy bought a cute little kid sunglasses from shopping mall. She loves it lots. She wore during day time, night time, sleep time, outdoor time and also show off time.
haha..

We recently tought her on some common answers and questions.

Daddy : What is your name ?
Samantha : "Mantha" name.
Daddy : Samantha, girl. Not Mantha.

Daddy : How old are you ?
Samantha : Two old.
Daddy : Two years old.

Samantha : Samantha name.

Little Playgroup

Today, Samantha went to her Playgroup. She goes to Playgroup twice a week. This helps her to socialize and learn some skills.

One year ago

Here's a blast from the past. Samantha's 1 year old birthday celebration. Ok.. I gotta admit it. I'm browsing the photos and some are just too cute.

New Taxi

First we had the Segway, which balances itself on 2 wheels.

Here's Samantha's version, with the help of Uncle Henry, that puts the Segway to shame. This has twice the amount of wheels (4) and has all round ventilation. It also has a safety cage.





It's powered by a single person (preferably not the person riding it).
Now Samantha travels about (around the house mostly) on her new mode of transportation. What a blast! haha *LOL*


She can even have snacks in it!

It's amazing what toddlers can do for fun. Take a simple laundry basket. She can transform this ordinary household item into a barrel.. erm.. basket of fun!








This mostly involves putting it over her head and even sitting in the basket. She even pretends to be a tortoise at times :)

Note that she has on her new pajamas! Cute ain't she.

Peek-a-boo!

uPapa

Firstly, we had YouTube which was bought by Google for an unbelievable mountain of cash.

Now, from the local massage/health-product scene, we have...
uPapa. Now this massage device is supposed to massage your back (or whichever part of your body you can lay on it) with the rythmic beats of large oriental drums. Now, at anytime, anyone who felt like being drummed into a pulp, can do so at their own convenience at home.
Samantha has already grasped the concept.

Tai Thong Dim Sum

It's Saturday and the Dim Sum crave is back. We went to Tai Thong at Summer Palace hoping to get some good deals on the dim sum promotions they normally have there. Well, it is not normal anymore! The promo has ended but we did enjoy some good dim sum.

We also tried some noodles which turn out to be like wantan mee but with better ingredients and even scallops. It had better taste better and it did!
Samantha is her usual self there and we sat at the same table, that we had in a previous visit. I took the opportunity to snap some photos of her having dim sum and a generally good time!

Doh Dough!

First, there was flour, water and some colouring. Then someone made PlayDoh and made lots of dough out of it.

Samantha received 2 little buckets of play dough (not PlayDoh). It was from Toys R Us. They have their own line of dough products! It's a really big range! There's so many colours, gadgets, tools, play things, thingies, etc. Samantha had a fun time playing with the 2 buckets of dough she has, so I thought of getting more.

We found this really nice Gardening Set. It was from Doh-Dough. (Can't think of a better name?). Looks like Samantha (and Mommy) are really into arts and crafts.

Now, it's time for Daddy to get more dough :) (pun intended)
